The laser safety device 'DSP-J' for press brakes was developed to protect operators from hazards during processing work with press brakes. The laser light emitted from the projector reaches the laser detection point of the receiver, creating protective areas in the front detection zone and the central detection zone, thereby safeguarding the operator's fingers in these two detection areas. Additionally, by selecting between the two operating modes (1 and 2) on the operation box, processing work can be carried out smoothly. ■Work can be performed without reducing production efficiency In conventional safety devices, there was a tendency for work efficiency to decrease. With the DSP-AP, high-speed descent is possible up to a position of 2mm above the material plate, achieving high productivity. Additionally, since high-speed descent is possible up to a position of 2mm above the material plate, the range of high-speed monitoring has expanded, resulting in improved safety compared to conventional methods. ■Smooth operation with automatic plate thickness detection function In conventional safety devices, the upper die would sometimes stop. The DSP-AP, with its material detection function, can perform bending at the appropriate pressure point even if the material discharged from the roll machine is warped or has distortions. Furthermore, due to the planar laser projection, adjusting the optical axis and moving during mold changes is easy. ■Supports various workpieces such as box bending Mode 1: All zones active Mode 2: Central zone active mode (used during box bending) Mode 3: Front and central zone active mode In normal mode, even box bending work that would block the optical axis at the front can be processed in box bending mode, where only the center optical axis is active. Additionally, even if the system stops due to shading, processing can continue by re-pressing the operation foot switch to deactivate the optical axis. (Re-pressing processing)
